Squad Display Day 2026

DGC will be holding our annual DISPLAY DAY on Sunday 28th June.


What time is this event?
This is an event for all gymnasts in Squads and will run 8am-11:30am Sunday 22nd June. Please arrive at 7:45am.

What is the day all about?
Gymnasts perform their 2026 competition routines individually on each apparatus. This event is about celebrating our gymnasts, participation and gymnasts doing their personal best. All gymnasts will receive an award certificate with coloured banded stickers and DGC medal.

Do I have to participate?
Participation is compulsory for all squad gymnasts.

What happens on the day?
Each session will be run with 4 class groups,

  • Each group will rotate around the 4 apparatus (Vault, Bars, Beam and Floor) and gymnast will perform their routine.

  • Coaches will encourage gymnast to perform one at a time however they can set a structure that each gymnast is comfortable with for their performance e.g. individual, in pairs, instructed or with the coach if need be.

  • Sessions for these gymnasts will run for roughly 1.5-2 hours.

What awards are given?
Every gymnast will be recognised individually for their participation with a medal and certificate. Gymnasts will receive banded stickers on their certificates (Bronze, Silver or Gold) based on a gymnast’s individual performance.

What to does my gymnast wear/bring?
Gymnasts to wear their full competition uniform: competition leotard, squad tracksuit, comp ribbon and hair. Please bring squad backpacks with named drink bottle. Please ensure tracksuits are labeled with gymnast names. Gymnast who ave ordered uniform will have it delivered before this date.

When does my gymnast need to arrive?
Gymnasts will arrive with their families and be walked into reception at 7:45am where they are marked off on the session roll. Families will exit reception and then enter via the side door to the main gym space. Doors will open for the session 5 minutes prior to the start time. Please ensure you allow adequate time to park and enter the building. Our carpark will be closed for the event however ample street parking is available.

How do I come along as a spectator?
Tickets will be available from 9th June.
To ensure all gymnasts can have family/friends attend we ask you to observe the 3 ticket limit listed on the purchasing page or each session, tickets are $10 each.
Any remaining tickets will be avail to purchase extra beyond the limit on 19TH JUNE
